AN AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RESPONSE:
Dear Mr. Obama:
Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.
Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.
Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution?
Declaration of Independence ?
Bill of Rights?
Didn't think so.
Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England ? No.
Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America ? No, they did not. In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own half brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug nosed slaves." Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it Mr. Obama?
Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country? Not present.
There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.
Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage era? Again, not present. In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so, that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights, aren't they?
Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews.
Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East . No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news networks that day. Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.
And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America .
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates. They were Muslim.
And now we can add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan .
That, Mr. Obama is the "Muslim heritage" in America .

The R word...
Face it, the "R" word (racist) has absolutely no meaning in our culture any more. Sure, it used to mean something. The word was once used to tag someone who felt that they somehow enjoyed an inherent, genetic superiority over another race of people. Now the word has been abused so much that it has become virtually useless.
Look .. I really hate to do this, but can we draw a comparison of the "R" word to the "F" word? What did the "F" word use to mean? At one time didn't the "F" word refer to some sort of a sexual act necessary for procreation? Yeah ... I think so. But today the word is used in literally hundreds of different contexts. How about "What the F are you doing?" or "Get the F out of here?" Do you see any sexual connotation in either of those uses? Or there's the ever-popular "How the F would I know?" or the world's most widely-used exclamation of surprise; "F!" Get the point here? When people use the "F" word there is no longer a reasonable expectation that they are talking about an issue related to sex. Similarly, when people use the "R" word ... racist ... there is no longer a reasonable expectation that they are talking about anything to do with racial relations. A "racist" statement is any utterance in disagreement with Democrat/liberal dogma. A "racist" is anyone who says something that causes discomfort in the mind of a liberal.
Just start laughing when someone starts squealing about racism. Maybe they'll find another word to use.
Oh .. and by the way. Try to find someone today who can offer you a definition of the words "racism," "bigotry" and "prejudice." Good luck with that.

You may not realize it, but our country, the United States, is rapidly becoming nothing less than a giant economic support system for government. We are so very close to the point where Americans will no longer exist to pursue and fulfill their own potentials. We will exist for one purpose ... to support government and those who depend on government. It will become --- in fact to many on the left it has already become - morally repugnant and indefensible to exist for your own sake.
Welcome back to a new age of American slavery.
It's this simple:

Milton Friedman
A MESSAGE ON RESPONSIBILITY
If you are a government school teacher, maybe you should gather your students around the computer to watch this clip. It is a short excerpt from a Q&A session that took place in 1978. The speaker is Milton Friedman. He is asked by a Stanford University student the following question: "How free are the poor, how free are the unemployed, how free are the people who are disadvantaged? What is government's role?"
Milton Friedman's response is worth a listen. Amazing how it still applies today, 32 years later. Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the clip:
Milton Friedman's response is worth a listen. Amazing how it still applies today, 32 years later. Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the clip:

Interesting metaphor..
Obama has pledged that the United States would not use nuclear weapons to repel an attack unless the country attacking us was using them. Does that sound logical to you? Well, if you're an ObamaZombie it just might. So, consider this scenario if you would.You own a home in what can only be described as a pretty nasty neighborhood. The Mr. & Mrs. Canada next door seem nice enough (though boring) and never really cause you any trouble. Those Mexicos on the other side are a bit of a problem. First, they seem to fight a lot over drugs, and they keeping coming into your yard. They do mow it once in a while however, so you have to give them that. Further down the street you have the Chavez clan. Now these people are bona-fide fruitcakes and their raucous parties seem to be gathering in the Honduras family and others. They love threatening the neighborhood, but so far it's been pretty much all talk. Across the lake, however, things are different. That's where the Muslims live. Now most of them are OK, but they have a gang problem; gangs with names like Al Qaeda and Taliban. It's not the graffiti that bothers you so much, it's their penchant for gang violence. These gangs regularly wander into their own neighborhoods wearing explosives and then turn themselves into greasy spots on the sidewalk ... along with a few dozen of their own family members. Every once in a while they'll sneak into your neighborhood to cause problems. When you try to keep them out with security screening they scream bloody murder.
Well .. OK, so that's your neighborhood. A lot nice, but some really nasty actors out there. So tell me .. would you hold a community meeting to tell all of these neighbors that yes, you have guns in your house for self-defense, but you promise you won't use those guns to defend yourself unless you're actually being attacked by someone with a gun? "You can attack us with swords, machetes, knives, slingshots, bows and arrows, mace, grenades, possums with HIV ... you're choice .. and we won't use our guns to defend ourselves. But if you come after us with guns all bets are off.
No? Well ... tell that to Obama.

WHAT a moron!!!!!!
THIS, HOWEVER, IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS BIT
Watch this YouTube video. Watch it and then feel sorry for the citizens of DeKalb County, Georgia. The star of this video is one Hank Johnson. He is questioning Navy Admiral Robert Willard, the commander of the Navy's Pacific Fleet. about some troop movements involving the island of Guam. Now seriously .. I want you to watch this. You'll be rewarded, I promise. About 1:20 into this clip you will hear Congressman Hank Johnson .. a Democrat (naturally) representing Georgia's 4th congressional district ... tell this Navy Admiral that he has some concerns about the addition of 8000 additional Navy personnel and their families to the island. Now ... and trust me, I looked for an April Fools element to this ... you are going to hear Hank Johnson express a concern that with 8000 more people Guam might -----
---- well hold on a minute. We'll get to Johnson's statement in a second. But KUAM, the Island Pride Station on Guam said that this was "the kind of moment that makes you ask yourself 'Did that just happen'?" Did WHAT just happen? Well ... Johnson actually told the Admiral that he was concerned that with the additional 8000 people on the island Guam might "tip over and capsize."
Can't you just imagine what this Admiral Willard must have been thinking? Here's this graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy listening to some moonbat member of the House Armed Services Committee expressing concerns that Guam is going to tip over. That was after he listened to Johnson's inane rambling about the size of Guam, using phrases like "least widest." Is there some sort of a medal we could give Admiral Willard for not laughing in the face of this fool? Instead, the Admiral, with remarkable restraint, merely said "We don't anticipate that."
Hank Johnson makes $174,000 a year as a Congressman. Could you imagine anyone paying him one-tenth that in the private sector?
OH ... maybe I should tell you that the person Johnson defeated to get this seat was none other than Cynthia McKinney. Clearly the people of the 4th Congressional District of Georgia are getting exactly what they deserve.

Must be nice...
There will come a point when the producers, the people who earn wealth and create jobs, will simply give up. The outrageous growth of "government mentality" is only adding to that frustration and speeding up the inevitable shrug. Here is yet another example of the government dependence mentality ... as if that last story from New York wasn't enough for you.
From 1998 to 2008, compensation for government employees grew by 28.6%. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the private sector. The increase there was 19.3%. The Wall Street Journal points out those government workers earn $1.45 for every dollar you earn doing the same exact job in a private business - a business that is forced to pay taxes and compete for customers.
The Boston Herald points to a local example of this mentality. In Salem, Massachusetts 45 city government employees earn over $100,000. That is up from 34 people who earned that amount just two years ago. Keep in mind that the median household income in Salem is less than $60,000. But those government workers "could pass out drunk in front of a supervisor and still be on the payroll."
But shhhhhhh. Don't say anything. If you do you could be identified as a dangerous, racist, violence-prone right winger!
